The Backstage Bar is Galway's newest intimate venue for music, entertainment, parties and special events. It has fast gained a reputation for fostering emerging talent as well as hosting special nights with established musicians. Comfy leather couches and excellent lighting and sound make this the perfect venue for VIP private parties and both solo and full band gigs. Since it’s launch in April 2011, the venue has been sought after as a location for film and video shoots with musicians and artists such as the film Seven Songs for Amy (Featuring Alabama 3).
